The UKMA operates the Wales 6 a side football team, which competes in major international competitions.

The finest hour for the Welsh team so far has seen them become Home Nations Champions in 2015, where they remained unbeaten in the three games and beat England along the way.

In 2014 there was a series of trials with the aim of finding some new players to supplement the squad, and a number of new players were found.

In the summer of 2014 Barry John - an experienced football man, both as a youth coach and referee - was appointed as manager and further players were added.

Rory Garey, the only player to remain from the 2013 team was announced as squad captain with David Vincent as team captain. The team have performed admirably in recent years in international competition and continue to grow stronger with each year.
