As we announced last week, the three men that have been selected as the men to take the England Minifootball team forward will be at Stevenage Academy on Sunday.

The trio, Paul Darke, Mark Staines and Gary Thomas will be joined by new United Kingdom Minifootball Association Chief Scout, Jamie Leggett as they run the rule over the over 100 players that have confirmed their attendance at the event.

We profiled Paul, Jamie and Mark already, but now we can tell you all about Gary Thomas.
Gary has been coaching for over twenty years. With a fantastic array of experience, having worked for Manchester United amongst other teams, and is registered by the Premier League as an official scout.

He also has an absolute wealth of experience in the 5 and 6 a side game too, coaching the formidable Pendleton Rovers team to glory throughout the country.

And finally – and it is a miracle he can find the time! – he coaches young players with the aim to getting them into professional academies, including both Manchester clubs, Liverpool, Everton, Blackburn and Bury.
