Further to our announcements regarding trials for the England and Scotland teams in the Spring, the UK Minifootball Association can confirm there will be a Welsh selection process too.

We are in discussions at the moment regarding dates and venue at the moment and will inform everyone of the details as soon as they are confirmed.

The Wales team competed in European competition for the first time in Crete and performed admirably, but the UK Minifootball Association are looking to increase their pool of players in a bid to help the team in future games.

The UKMA has already confirmed that Wales will compete in the 2014 event, which will be held at a venue to be decided early next year during in an Executive Meeting of the European Minifootball Federation.

It is hopes that the new Wales National Minifootball Team coach will be in place before the trials. Applications are still being invited for the position, which was created after the UKMA decided to restructure things following a review after miniEURO.

If you would like to apply for the job then please email office@ukminifootball.co.uk  ONLY with a CV and covering letter.
