National Teams

The UKMA operate the England 6 a side football team, which competes in major international competitions.

The Management of the England team, Mark Staines, Gary Thomas and Paul Darke, were in place for the Home Nations Championships in 2014, which England won.

There was then a three team tournament in Sippersfield between England, Germany and Luxembourg, which England almost won, before surrendering a lead to the hosts in the last few seconds.

The team continued to participate well in international competition but after an unfortunate match with Montenegro, Staines left his post, but Thomas remained as Assistant to Darke for future international competitions.

In 2016, the England 6-a-side team licence was granted by the UKMA to Paul Darke and Paolo Vernazza, who have successfully grown and developed the team over the last few months.
